candylandEvery person has fond memories of winning a game of Candy Land as a child. Hasbro is the company that created Candy Land and is celebrating its 60th anniversary in the year of 2009. The board game is still loved by all and is going to be a hot holiday gift once again.

This classic board game takes no skill to play and is loved by people of all ages. Instead of this individuals take color coded cards to see where they need to move on the board. Some of the cards from Candy Land have images on them that tell players where they need to move their game piece on the game board.

The reason as to why young children love to play the game of candy land is that it does not require any reading. The only skill that any individual needs to play the game of candy land is to be able to match colors and images. One of the other reasons as to why Candý Land is so fun to play is that they have an equal chance of winning the entire game. Young children to not need to worry about losing to their siblings or to their parents.

Some adults may have grown up as children playing only a single version of Candy LandN but there are now multiple versions that you can play. Aside from the classic version of Candy Land, you can also play the Candy Land Castle Game, the Sweet Celebration Game, and the travel friendlý version of the game. Individuals that enjoy Disneý and Nickelodean will love playing the Doora the Explorer and Winnie the Pooh versions of the game.

Today is a world that is full of stress and that is extremely difficult and playing games like Candy Land is always a good thing. The cover of the Candy Land box explains that it is a sweet little game for sweet little folks, but the game is still fun for those that are young at heart. For this reason, giving candy land as a gift always creates a smile.

  2. This is NOT the Candyland game we played as a child. These creepy looking characters are infantile and twisted. The original Candyland characters were sweet images of children from the 1950’s.

    These current changes of characters on this game reflect a twisted psychological perversion on our children. Please seek the original Candyland game.

  10. @Marco I know what your mean. In the current economy its tough to find a company to work for that pays well and is consistent. I have discovered that if you just work hard and are consistent you can succeed. Look at the poster of this article, they are oviously a hard worker and have just been consistent over time and are now enjoying at least what would appear as somewhat of a success. I would encourage everyone to just keep hustling and moving forward.
