Here are some ideas to start on the road to creating a learning environment for your child.

Play dough together. You can buy, but it's also fun to make your own. (Make the dough could be a great learning experience in itself.) Give your child to squeeze it, roll it, sculpt it, crush it, the book, cutting you get the idea! Just let them play, and in the process, explore your senses, to express themselves artistically, creatively, and perhaps some frustration!

Tell your child stories. They love to hear stories about people they know. Tell them stories about you when you were child, the stories of their grandparents and other relatives, and especially stories about themselves. Preschoolers love to hear themselves talk! (One of the is usually a favorite story about the day they were born.) Oral Storytelling increase improves listening to children, their ability to care, and develop thinking abstract.
